About AICTE-IDEA Lab

The AICTE IDEA (Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship Academy) Lab is a flagship initiative of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) aimed at transforming engineering and technical education in India from theory-oriented to hands-on, experiential learning.

To create a dynamic innovation ecosystem that nurtures creative thinking, hands-on learning, and entrepreneurial mindset among students and faculty, enabling them to develop impactful, sustainable, and industry-relevant solutions for societal and technological challenges.

Mission
To provide a state-of-the-art makerspace that supports design, prototyping, and experimentation.
To cultivate design thinking, innovation, and problem-solving skills through experiential learning.
To encourage interdisciplinary collaboration among students, faculty, and industry.
To promote entrepreneurship and startup culture by supporting idea-to-product development.
To align academic learning with industry needs and national initiatives through practical skill development.
