HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT

Mrs. Gidla Vijaya Kumari is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of CSE-Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, B V C I T S, Amalapuram. She  graduated from BVCEC, Odalarevu and Completed her M.Tech., from JNTUK, Kakinada. Presently she is pursuing Ph.D., from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. She has overall teaching experience of 20 years which includes 18 years of experience at B V C I T S, Amalapuram. Her area of interest includes Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence etc. She published 9 papers in National and International Journals. She qualified UGC NET-2024 with 89.88 percentile and received NPTEL Discipline Star appreciation, Jan-Apr,2024, for her outstanding performance. She is a quick learner and organized & participated in many workshops, Hackathons and technical events on cutting edge technologies in Computer Science and Engineering.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE: 20 years

• Worked as an Assistant Professor at Kakinada Institute of Engineering &  Technology, Korangi, for 2 years ( Dec,2024 to Apr,2007).
• Working as an Associate Professor at BVC Institute of Technology & Science, Batlapalem, from 16^th July,2007 to till date.
• Ratified as Assistant Professor by JNTUK, Kakinada.
