Dr. RAVI KISHORE VELURI,

M.Tech., Ph.D.,

Dr. Ravi Kishore Veluri is currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of AIML & CAD at Bonam Venkata Chalamayya Institute of Technology and Science (BVCITS), Amalapuram. He obtained his B.Tech degree from JNTUH  and M.Tech (CSE) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Sri Satya Sai University  in 2022. Presently, he is pursuing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Computer Science and Engineering from Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore.

He possesses 20 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience and has served in various academic leadership positions including Associate Professor, Head of the Department, BOS Chairperson, BOS Member, Departmental Research Committee Panel Member, Research Supervisor, NBA and NAAC Coordinator.

His research interests include Cyber Secuity,Networks, Cloud Computing,Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Explainable AI, Blockchain Technology, Computer Networks and Deep Learning

Dr. Ravi Kishore has published 42+ research articles, including SCI, Scopus, Web of Science, IEEE, and Springer indexed publications. He has authored 4 patents, 4 book chapters/books, and has received 265+ Google Scholar Citations with an H-index of 6. He is actively guiding research scholars and serving as a reviewer and editorial board member for international journals.

He was honoured with the Best AI Award – 2025 for his contribution to Threat Detection using Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). He has organized and coordinated several international conferences, faculty development programs, workshops, and technical events.
